Hi I'm  Leigh Silvers

I'm  A Native New Yorker, Or In My Words, "New Yorka". Born And Bred In Brooklyn, I  Still Reside Here. I Proudly Claim A Russian And Swedish Ancestry. 

I Studied Fashion Design At The Fashion Institute Of Technology In NYC, And Have  Worked As A Fashion Designer.

 
In My  Own Words  I, "Dabbled" In Art, But Is Self Taught. I Give God Credit For My Gift, And My Inspiration Comes From My  Dearly Departed Artist Sister-Who's Easel I Inherited. 

I Began My  Journey In Painting Two Years Ago After Being In A Coma For Eight Months, Following A Near Death Experience. When I  Awakened, I  Found Myself Having To Relearn How To Walk And Concentrate, Among Other Challenges And  Have Come A Long Way In A Very Short Time!  I Also Had A New Awareness In All Life Around  Me Seeing Beauty In The Mundane, And Having A Passion To Share It Through My  Art. 

I  Produce Varied Works Of Abstract Art, Using All Mediums, And Also Fantastic Computer Graphics Available For Prints .
